It was a beautiful sunny day and I went for a long walk, first around the old city down through the Arab Quarter to the Garden of Gethsemane, and then back through the city within the city walls. Jerusalem is a marvelous city with so many “notes”, so much history. Here in one of the crooked bazaar streets, I had lunch with my old friend Mahmoud, whom I have known since he was a little boy, and who today has a crystal shop. He loves when I come by. It’s no secret that I speak “crystal language”. I have collected stones and crystals as far back as I can remember and can see from a long distance what energy they radiate and who they will benefit. This means that Mahmoud sells 4-5 times as much in his store when I am around mentoring customers.
When I left, I had two small polished crystals in my hand – I had chosen them myself, and they were a gift to me from Mahmoud, for my help.
I then went to sit on the lovely terrace of the Christian café right at the entrance to Jaffa Gate. Here I know that I can eat and drink without getting (stomach) sick. A few minutes later, 3 women showed up and asked if they could sit at my table. Certainly. We got into conversation and they turned out to be Christians on a pilgrimage tour having a short break from the rest of their group. And what had I been doing during the day? I have had lunch with an old friend and he gave me these beautiful stones, I replied and opened my hand. Ush, said one. New Age. And then the ladies got up and left the table. Okay, I thought. The same old story. Really tiresome…What the ladies did not know is that Jesus is guiding me through the crystals. He who knows my inner self and knows what the purpose of my life is and the Way to achieve it. Everything is carefully orchestrated.
Another time I was at a meeting with Christian ladies who love Israel. One of them asked me out, and when she heard that I’m an expert in creating beautiful oils, she asked with distinct distrust in her voice: Is it something alternative? I answered: No more alternative than that the Bible is full of beautiful fragrances and oils – indeed, baby Jesus himself received various aromatic resins as gifts from the three wise men … And Paul also said: Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks (1 Timothy 4:4). The lady looked at me with contempt and replied: He has also said, All things are lawful, but not all things are helpful. All things are lawful, but not all things build up (1 Corinthians 10:23). And had she had one of those meat hammers used in Court, I would have been knocked out right away. – An effective way to try to scare people away from the most beautiful message in the world!
How grateful I am to know God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit since I was a child — indeed, in many incarnations before — and how grateful I am to have chosen to be born into a family where we have always used alternative methods to heal diseases, grief, unresolved trauma, etc. It is one of my gifts of grace that God has endowed me with: A deep sensitivity to the language spoken through the beautiful creations in Nature: oils, stones, crystals, animals, stars… Then I’m in my right element. I read signs everywhere and use my psychic abilities to understand.
In many Christian circles, it has unfortunately become an accepted narrative that “alternative methods” are what the Bible warns against and calls “the false prophets.” They believe that being psychic always means being in league with the devil. I smile: You can very well have been born with psychic gifts and choose to ally yourself with the Holy Spirit. The Bible then calls what comes out of it: The gift of prophecy, or the gift of speaking in tongues or laying on of hands – all valuable gifts… – When alternative therapists on their part often have a strong aversion to everything “religious” – the Bible included – it is often due to ignorance, because they have rarely opened the Book. If they did, they would experience a Book full of mystery, energy, magic, miracles, indeed, all the holistic systems they could ever wish for …
The Bible can be read by anyone without prior “knowledge”. That is what makes the Book so very special. No priests, no interpreters are needed here – the Holy Spirit will interpret the text for you if you allow so … Since I am a mystic and an energy worker, I naturally read the Book as an invitation to step into the Mystery… into the Garden where the Tree of Life grows. The Tree of Life appears at the beginning and at the end of the Bible inviting you on a spiritual as well as a physical journey. The first 5 books (= the Pentateuch) elaborate on this theme and the rest of the Bible follows suit giving us signs and prophecies that light up the road for us – if we pay attention…
To me, it’s clear: God is God, tools are tools. Tools can help open up, cleanse ourselves, soothe, prepare the foundation – but they can not save your soul. For they are attached to the earth, and the earth blossoms only when heaven rains on it.
When I got back to my hotel in the evening in Jerusalem, a man tried to open the door to his room next to mine. He was wearing a bishop’s hat and bishop’s robe and the cross of Christ was hanging around his neck. I’d been in the same situation with the stupid key… one of these modern key cards where you have to turn the handle while inserting the card: They can really be tricky. So I smiled and took over, and the man entered his room. 20 minutes later he was standing behind my door wearing jeans and a T-shirt and had 2 small bottles of whiskey in his hand. May I offer you a drink to thank you for your help? he asked. Yes please, I replied, opening my door to let him in. What’s in the nice box on your table? he asked. My tarot cards are inside, I said, looking at him attentively. I’ve never tried that – can I draw a card? Certainly, I said. But it must be before the whiskey! He drew the first card and I explained what I saw in the card. He was amazed – and continued. A total of 6 cards he drew – a beautiful summary of his entire life. This is what tarot cards can provide: A starting point for a good conversation that creates an overview. Here I was sitting with a man who was used to be the one who counselled members of his congregation. But he, too, had painful memories and scars in his soul. – And by the way: I never use cards to “predict” the future, but cards can tell what you yourself think will happen … In this way cards may reveal deep seated fears and core beliefs that prevent you from making progress…
The bishop and I sat for 2 hours and before he left I told him about the 3 women who had got away from my table when they saw my two crystals. He let out a loud laugh. Well, they have not understood at all what you stand for! You are a wise woman… I’m glad that I met you… Thank you, I said, and knew intuitively that God had sent him in my direction to reassure me while saying: Hang on. You will meet many of such people like the ladies who project their own fears onto you and make you the villain. Just let go!
Jesus said: Do you want glory from men – or glory from God? I wonder who…
God has given all of us gifts of grace, and he continues to give. He knows our worth, our abilities, and looks into our luminous hearts. Listen to Him – feel the love in your heart, and then close your eyes and ears to all the gossip, slander, flattery, etc. that can lead you astray.
Finally, I would like to add: A good “reading” is always dependant on the parties involved being on the same wavelength and speaking the same language. Where the truth of Jesus cannot be bent, all human activity takes on the color of past insights, surroundings, expectations, temperament, etc. It’s always a good idea to be selective before choosing a mentor…
Maybe you and I are a match… maybe not.
